We love honey, and we’ve spent a lot of time working with it. With HoniBella, we wanted to do something a little different, something better for us than the other chocolate spreads on the market: simpler, no oils, no refined sugar, no nuts, and no unpronounceable ingredients! 

We’ve combined our own local Smiley raw honey with cacao to make a chocolate honey spread that you can enjoy on toast, pancakes, croissants or whatever you feel like putting it on. The honey gives it sweetness, and the cacao gives it that lovely chocolate flavor. 

It’s a simple idea, and we’re excited for you to try it.

What’s in it?

Honey and cacao. That’s it.

There are no added oils, emulsifiers or flavorings. Honey is our first ingredient, and an important part of how HoniBella tastes.

We wanted to make something delicious with ingredients we know and enjoy. You’ll taste the honey as well as the chocolate, which is what makes HoniBella different.

How do you eat it?

Start with a slice of warm toast. That’s probably the easiest way to explain HoniBella.

It’s also delicious on pancakes and waffles, inside a croissant, or with strawberries and banana. You can spoon some over ice cream or dip a pretzel in it. Our kids love it in their Oats or in Greek yogurt. 

And if you find yourself eating a little straight from the jar, you won’t be the first.
